About Search

You can search journal entries and messages by tapping on the search icon (🔍) at the top of the screen.

• Message/Entry: Smart search by message content and theme. Results will match any message or entry that contains the word or related concepts. For example: searching by “school” might also bring up results that include “education”.
• Tags: Find messages that contain specific tags. Some tags are added by the AI automatically, but you can add your own tags to help with search.
• Flags: Tap “Urgent”, “Concerning” or “Flagged” to find messages that match any of these special tags.
• Date Sent: Choose dates to search messages within a date range.

How does the app find a match for my query

When you search the body of a message or journal entry, our search uses ai-powered logic to find messages even partly related to your query. For instance, if you searched “raining”, we will of course pull up any entries that matched “rain”, but also those that include “umbrella”, “boots” or other rain-related concepts.

Sometimes, this means that your search results contain results you don’t expect – this is normal. We always put the most relevant results at the top.
