When you remove your BestInterest account, ALL app data about you will be removed from our servers immediately, including:
- Your name and profile information
- Your password and phone number
- Any information you added about yourself, coparent, or your family members including phone numbers and emails
- Your list of support team members like therapist, coach, and attorney.
- Your entire chat history with your coparent
- Any verified message reports you generated
Items that will NOT be deleted include:
- Any anonymized app or website usage data
- Any customer service messages or emails you sent us
- If your coparent is ALSO a user, they will retain their copy of your messages. They will need to delete their account as well for their copy to be deleted.
- If your support team also have accounts with us, they will still retain their accounts.
- Your subscription through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. You must cancel that subscription separately.
If you come back to the BestInterest app, you will need to input this information again to resume using the service, but your phone number and email address will not be locked out from creating a new account.
Steps to Delete Your Account
To delete your account, please follow these steps:
- Open the BestInterest app on your phone.
- Tap “Settings” or your profile name from the home screen.
- Tap “Delete My Account”
- Follow the instructions, which will confirm your account and then allow you to delete your entire account.
