You both want what’s best for your kids. But let’s be honest—getting there isn’t always easy.
Maybe you read each other’s tone wrong.
Maybe the past keeps showing up in your messages.
Maybe good intentions still spiral into conflict.
That’s exactly why Together Mode exists.
It’s for co-parents who want peace, who care about their kids, and also who sometimes struggle to communicate calmly—especially when emotions are running high. Together Mode brings structure, AI support, and shared clarity into your communication, so co-parenting can feel less like a battle and more like a partnership.
Together Mode means you’ll both be on the same page and able to put your kids first, regardless of the situation.
What Is Together Mode?
Together Mode is a shared messaging space inside the BestInterest app where both co-parents communicate in a calm, AI-moderated environment. Every message—both incoming and outgoing—is reviewed by our AI engine to filter out inflammatory tone, reduce misunderstandings, and keep things child-focused.
It’s not magic. But it’s the next best thing: a communication space designed to protect your peace and your parenting.
What You Share (and What You Don’t)
Together mode was built with privacy in mind, from the ground up. YOU own your data, not your coparent. Here’s how Together Mode works, in plain terms:
✅ Shared Between Co-Parents
- Messages – Every message you send is visible to your co-parent (and vice versa). Both parties retain their own full record.
- Images – Photos and attachments shared via chat are also shared between both parents.
- AI Review – Before you send a message, it is reviewed for clarity and child-focus, coaching you towards a better way to get your point across (and protecting you in court if it comes to that). YOU are in control and can always take or leave any advice the AI coach gives you.
- AI Moderation – Before messages are delivered to each parent, our system screens them for emotionally charged or aggressive language—and filters it out. So even if your coparent bypasses the AI Review feature and “sends it anyway” you are protected.
- Urgent Message Detection – Emergencies or urgent topics are automatically flagged to ensure they don’t get lost or delayed.
- Messages are retained – You or your coparent has the right to delete your data at any time. However, if you do not delete your account, messages shared with you are retained for record-keeping purposes.
🚫 Not Shared Between Co-Parents
- Coparent Coach – Your private AI support system. It helps you draft messages, reframe tone, and preview how your words might be received—but your co-parent never sees it.
- Journal Entries – Anything you log privately inside the Coparenting Journal stays private and will not be shared.
- Drafts & Deleted Messages – Only sent messages are shared. What you don’t send stays with you.
