Video calling in our app is designed to keep your conversations secure, structured, and easy to manage. To give you the best experience, we offer customizable safety boundaries and tiered calling limits based on your current subscription plan.

Subscription Plans & Calling Limits

Your video calling capabilities are determined by the highest subscription tier present between you and your connection. We use a "Sponsor" model—meaning if one person has a higher premium tier, both users benefit from those extended limits during your calls!

Note: All calls will display a countdown timer when you are nearing your per-call limit and will gracefully auto-terminate when the time is up.

Advanced Features (Protect Plus Exclusive)

For users on our highest tier, we offer advanced tools to ensure you always have an accurate, reliable record of your conversations.

  • Cloud Call Recording: You can toggle on "Auto-Record" in your calling settings. When active, your video and audio will be securely recorded and saved to your private Vault.
  • AI Transcription: Recorded calls are automatically transcribed. You can read a full, speaker-separated text log of your conversation within minutes of hanging up.
  • Privacy Rules: Recordings and transcripts are strictly saved only to the Vault of the user who pays for the Protect Plus subscription.

Safety & Boundary Settings (All Subscriptions)

We believe you should always be in control of when your phone rings. All premium users have access to our Calling Boundaries settings, allowing you to set strict rules for incoming calls.

  • Block All Calls: A master toggle that completely disables incoming video calls.
  • Allowed Time Windows: Set specific days and hours when you are available (e.g., Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM).
  • Silent Enforcement: If someone tries to call you outside of your allowed time windows, your phone will not ring. The caller will simply see a message that you are currently unavailable.
  • Missed Call Logging: Every missed or declined call—including calls blocked by your time windows—will automatically generate a system message in your text feed, ensuring you always have a complete paper trail.
