Message Shield and Tone Guardian are included in the Protect plan and higher. These features are designed for high-conflict communication where incoming filtering and outgoing tone review are most helpful.
Do both parents need a paid plan?
No. Each parent can choose their own plan. For in-app audio and video calls, only the person placing the call needs Connect or higher; their linked co-parent can enable and answer calls on Free.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
Yes. Connect, Protect, and Protect Plus each include a 2-week free trial, and the Free plan never expires — so you can try the advanced protection tools before paying anything.
