How to Use the Coparenting Journal

  1. Add an Entry: Whenever you have an interaction with your coparent worth documenting, open the Coparenting Journal in the BestInterest app.
  2. Record Details: Add who was involved, what happened, and any relevant context. Be specific—details matter when referencing events later.
  3. Automatic Timestamp & Geotag: Each entry is automatically timestamped, and if you allow location access, geotagged for accuracy.
  4. Save (No Edits): Once you tap “Save,” your entry is permanently stored. Entries cannot be edited to preserve integrity for legal use.
  5. Generate Reports: Visit Settings > Journal Reports to export, print, or share entries with your lawyer or court representative.
