Each parent shall maintain a BestInterest Protect plan or higher and keep Tone Guardian enabled for newly written messages. Tone Guardian shall review each new draft in the sending flow before delivery and offer the parent a calmer rewrite. Each parent remains responsible for the message they choose to send. A parent who cannot afford the required plan may apply confidentially to BestInterest for a fee waiver.

In a high-conflict matter, each parent shall use BestInterest's Coparent Coach before responding to communication about a disputed issue. Coparent Coach provides in-the-moment guidance to help the parent consider a calmer, more child-focused response. Each parent remains responsible for the message they choose to send.

Preserve a consistent record and define how relevant information may be shared.

BestInterest shall serve as the record of communication and coordination covered by this order. Each parent may export supported records they choose to share, including messages, calls, calendar events, tasks, and expenses, for attorney, mediator, parenting coordinator, evaluator, or court review as permitted or ordered. A parent shall not alter or misrepresent an exported record.

Use instead of Collaborative Mode when only one parent will participate.

If only [parent name] participates, that parent shall create and maintain a BestInterest account in Solo Mode to organize coparenting records, receive communication support, and manage routine coparenting matters. If Boundary Line is selected and available under the chosen plan, the non-participating parent may continue communicating by text or phone through the dedicated number provided.
