How to Use the BestInterest Home Screen

The Home screen is the starting point for BestInterest. Its tiles take you directly to the tools you use, while badges show where something may need your attention.

The tiles you see can vary based on your account mode and available features.

Home screen tools

Your Home screen can include:

  • Messages for communication with your coparent
  • Coach for Coparent Coach
  • Journal for your Coparenting Journal
  • Tasks for tasks and to-dos
  • Calendar for schedules and parenting time
  • Expenses for child-related expenses
  • Calls for available calling features
  • Binder for important child and household information
  • Photos for your image gallery
  • Drafts for unfinished messages
  • Trades for parenting-time trade requests
  • Guide for BestInterest articles and resources
  • Stats for your account activity
  • Settings for account and feature preferences
  • Support for help and contact options

Tap any tile to open that part of the app.

Badges and New labels

A number badge means that section has something for you to review. Depending on the tile, it may show unread messages, saved drafts, missed calls, or pending trade requests.

A New label highlights a tool that was recently added to your Home screen. Open the tool once and the label will stop appearing.

Why some tiles are different

BestInterest shows the tools that apply to your current setup. For example:

  • Connected coparents can see collaborative tools such as video calls and parenting-time trades.
  • Solo Mode users with Boundary Line can see calling and draft tools used with their BestInterest number.
  • Some tools depend on your plan or feature availability.

If your coparent sees a different set of tiles, it does not mean your information is missing. Your Home screens may reflect different account modes or access.
