Will my ex know my message is coming from an app?

In Solo Mode with Boundary Line, messages you send arrive as ordinary SMS or MMS from your assigned BestInterest number. Your coparent does not need to install an app, and the ordinary message body does not carry BestInterest branding.

That does not guarantee that your use of BestInterest is undiscoverable. Your coparent sees a different phone number, and phone services, carrier notices, links you share, or information you choose to send can reveal the service. Share only what fits your situation.

Their replies to the Boundary Line number appear in BestInterest. Texts sent to your personal number remain in your regular messaging app. See where messages arrive.

In Collaborative Mode, both parents use BestInterest and know they are connected in the app. You can invite your coparent when you both want to use shared tools.
