Send to Team

Bring the exact message to the people helping you.

When a co-parenting message is too important—or too emotionally loaded—to paraphrase later, Send to Team forwards the selected message by email to a therapist, attorney, coach, mediator, or other professional you added. They get the wording that matters. You keep control of what you share and who receives it.

Your professional does not need BestInterest. Send to Team uses the email you save in Professionals Team.

From a real co-parent

“Moderating messages helps me stay out of fight-or-flight. It supports the kind of strategy therapy alone couldn’t.”
— BestInterest parent

Clearer context, less retelling

Stop reconstructing the hard message from memory.

The words can matter as much as the event. Send to Team preserves that context while keeping the handoff focused on the one message you chose.

Keep the exact wording

Give your professional the message itself instead of trying to rebuild the exchange from memory later.

Share one relevant moment

Choose the message that needs attention without sending your entire conversation or opening your account to anyone else.

Stay inside trusted support

Bring clearer context to the therapist, attorney, coach, or other professional who already understands their role with you.

How it works

From one message to the right professional.

Your Professionals Team is a private contact list inside BestInterest. Add the people who support your family, then choose who receives each message you decide to share.

The handoff goes by email, so the professional can receive it without downloading BestInterest or entering your account.

A protective handoff

Let them see the original—without making yourself reread it.

When Message Shield presents a reviewed restatement and keeps the original hidden, you can use Send to Team without opening the original. The professional you choose receives the original message wording when it is available.

Send to Team FAQ

What does Send to Team share?

Send to Team emails the text of the one message you select. For an incoming message, it uses the original wording when that wording is available. It does not currently add the full conversation, attachments, or a separate note.

Can I share a filtered message without reading the original?

Yes. If BestInterest shows a reviewed restatement and keeps the original wording hidden, you can open the message details and use Send to Team without opening the original yourself.

Who can I add to my Professionals Team?

You can add a therapist, family law attorney, coach, mediator, parenting coordinator, Guardian ad Litem, custody evaluator, case manager, court or judicial contact, or another trusted professional.

Does my professional need a BestInterest account?

No. BestInterest sends the selected message to the email address you saved for that professional. They do not need the app or access to your account.

Does Send to Team provide real-time professional support?

Send to Team delivers the selected message by email when you choose to share it. It does not create a live chat or guarantee an immediate response. Agree with each professional about when to use email and when to contact them another way.

Does my coparent receive the professional email?

No. The professional email goes to the team member you select; it does not send another message to your coparent.

How do I add a professional and share a message?

Open Settings, choose Professionals Team, and add the professional's name, role, and email. Then open a sent or received message, tap Send to Team, choose the team member, and confirm.
